This Burly is Baltimore Bound.

Anson, Adam and Myself (Adrian)

Today is my birthday and I leave in 2 days to help celebrate Adam's birthday with him in Baltimore. We are both true Leo's - born just 2 years and 5 days apart. (I am older - don't forget it.) I can not say that I am surprised by Adam's accomplishments at the young age of 24, but I can say that I am ever-SO-proud. He is truly blessed and I wanted to take this opportunity to tell my Lil-Reli HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY - you make us all so, so, so proud and I know Nana can't wipe that smile off of her face either. Keep up the hard work Lil' Reli - see you in B-More!

  4. This is great! I grew up in the northwest and have been a Mariners fan for a long time, however, live in the DC area. When the Mariners play in Baltimore, I always go to all of the game decked out in Mariners gear and got to meet Adam on his 21st bday! He'd only been called up for about 2 weeks at the time, but I knew he was the real deal. I waited for him after the game to say hi and he was impressed that I knew who he was AND that I knew it was his birthday! :) When he was traded to the Orioles, I knew that the O's got the better deal and was sad for the M's but happy that I'd get to see him play more often. I got to see him at spring training 2008 as an Oriole and the game was rained out, but we got to visit with him for about 45 minutes. It was great. I'm sure that he wouldn't remember me now since he has so many fans, but I was one of the first ones. :)

Thanks for starting this blog. Go Jonesy! Happy Birthday!
